This retractor is ideally suited for retraction of nerve roots during procedures such as spinal surgery that require manipulation of delicate nerve tissue. It features an angled neck to reach deep into the surgical field while keeping the handle clear of it. Additionally this instrument features a handle that can have a suction tube affixed to the end enabling it to remove blood and other fluid which keeps the surgical field clear.
