2.0 mm x 10.0 mm jaws, w/ teeth, 7″ (18.0 cm) Cushing IVD Rongeur is ideally suited for use in orthopedic neurosurgical procedures. It is specifically designed for use in manipulation of intervertebral disks. Generally it can be used in discectomy produces to remove a herniated disc. Additionally it can be used in intervertebral disc arthoplasty or total disc replacement procedures to alleviate spinal pain. The jaws of this rongeur features teeth that allow it to more securely grasp the IVD and it is available in straight profile or angled up or down.
