Blunt Jaw Pliers

5-1/2″ (14.0 cm) Blunt Jaw Pliers can be used in a variety of surgical procedures that require the insertion and manipulation of wires. This instrument features slightly rounded handles which makes it easy to hold and operate manually and is a traditionally utility poliers with adjustable jaws. The blunt jaws prevent breakage and splintering of the wire and allows for increased pressure to reshape it to the appropriate shape. Wires can be used to approximate fractures or can be inserted through skin and bone to provide traction on the bone.
